Our worship service includes hymns, Scripture, preaching, confession, forgiveness, offering, baptism, and communion. Holy Communion is celebrated every week. There is a mix of music, rotating between a worship band, organ-led, special musicians. We include many styles of music to enhance the worship experience.
Holy Communion
Holy Communion is the gift of God's presence, love, and forgiveness. It is given for you! Everyone is welcome to come and receive, regardless of age, denomination, or whether you consider yourself a church-goer at all. Children can receive the elements or a blessing, at their parents' discretion. If you are interested in learning more, classes are held during Lent and First Communion is celebrated at the Maundy Thursday service.
During the service, ushers will direct you to the communion rail to receive the elements. Many people kneel, but it is not necessary, especially if you have mobility issues. If you are unable to come up to the rail, let your usher know, and communion can be brought to you where you are seated. ​
