Outreach Ministry Team

Glen Cary Lutheran Church supports a number of Community Outreach Ministries, through various groups within our congregation, that willingly accept donations - money or gifts-in-kind.

Alexandra House
Alexandra House provides services to combat domestic violence and sexual violence. Based in Anoka County, their free services include 24-hour emergency shelter, support services and advocacy to victims of domestic and sexual violence. They are located in the cities of Blaine and Anoka, but serve victims of domestic and sexual violence across the state of Minnesota.

Camp Noah
Camp Noah is a locally hosted event for elementary-age children whose communities have been impacted by disaster. Camp Noah is a nationally acclaimed preparedness and resiliency day camp for elementary children in communities impacted by disaster and/or crisis. Camp Noah provides a safe and caring environment where children build resiliency skills within the familiarity of their own communities, using a proven curriculum designed to help children process their disaster and/or trauma experience through creative activities and play. Camp Noah celebrates every child as special. In this safe and supportive setting, children are encouraged to face their fears, grieve their losses, identify and share their unique gifts and talents, and plan for an amazing future.
